Hola amigos de Hive
¡Bienvenidos a mi blog!
I tell you that for a long time I have not used my watercolors or India ink in some of my works, so today I decided to dust them off and make a drawing using both techniques. To tell the truth, I did not know what to do at first, so since I love birds, I did one in a somewhat creative style.
Obviously I started by sketching the figure of the bird, after having it ready I thought a lot before starting to paint, because as I mentioned I had time without using watercolors, however I stood up and began to paint and whatever the result was, as they say Over there.
So I began by painting the upper part of the bird, as I wanted it to be something creative, use colors that I like a lot, starting with yellow (worth the note that it is my favorite color), and making washes in red to achieve an effect of transition between yellow red and orange.
After I proceeded to apply color on the wings this time using pink tones, and then enter the body as such, there I made variations using violets, pinks, oranges and reds. Then paint the legs and the branch where the bird sits.
Then it was time to use Chinese ink, so with the help of a pen I began to mark the silhouette of the bird and make some quick strokes on the wings and in turn in various parts of the drawing in order to enhance and give greater eye-catching to the drawing.
Finally, apply some color to the background and a touch of white to the eyes and certain areas of the bird's body, to give a little light to the drawing. You see the result below, I really feel very pleased, because despite having not used these techniques for so long, in my opinion it was not bad, what do you think and I await your suggestions.
