Hoy quiero mostrarles un dibujo a lapices de color que realice hace algún tiempo. Como ya les he comentado estudio artes, y en ocasiones suelo dibujar en mis ratos libres y he de admitir que me encantan (ademas de los gatos) las aves, así que esta vez les muestro el proceso de realización de un lindo cardenalito.
Hello, welcome to my blog! Today I want to show you a colored pencil drawing that I made some time ago. As I have already mentioned, I study arts, and sometimes I usually draw in my spare time and I have to admit that I love birds (in addition to cats), so this time I show you the process of making a cute little cardinal.
Para comenzar trace algunas líneas guía, para ubicarme en el espacio y ya luego comencé a bocetar el ave, junto al árbol donde se encuentra posado.
To begin I draw some guidelines, to locate myself in space and then I began to sketch the bird, next to the tree where it is perched.
Cuando inicie el dibujo no tenía decidido que técnica utilizaría, estaba indecisa entre acuarelas o lapices de colores, y pues termine decidiéndome por esta última, ya que tengo bastante tiempo que no utilizo acuarelas (espero pronto practicar, y mostrarle algún trabajo en esta técnica). De este modo inicie pintando la parte superior de ave, comenzando con el ojo, para ello emplee un color azur en escala tonal baja y luego agrego un poco de negro para oscurecer.
When I started drawing, I had not decided what technique I would use, I was undecided between watercolors or colored pencils, and then I ended up deciding on the latter, since I have not used watercolors for a long time (I hope to practice soon, and show you some work in this technique) .
In this way I start by painting the upper part of the bird, starting with the eye, for this I use an azure color in a low tonal scale and then I add a little black to darken.
Seguidamente, seguí trabajando en el cuerpo del ave, utilizando el color rojo en diferentes tonos, a su vez naranjas, azueles y violetas, para generar ciertos matices y de ese modo evitar utilizar el color negro de forma pura.
Next, I continued working on the body of the bird, using the color red in different tones, in turn oranges, azures and violets, to generate certain nuances and thus avoid using the color black in a pure way.
Finalmente aplique ciertas aguadas con acuarela al fondo, en azul y verde, para generar una especie de cielo, y evitar un fondo totalmente plano en el dibujo.
Finally, apply certain washes with watercolor to the background, in blue and green, to generate a kind of sky, and avoid a totally flat background in the drawing.
