La pierna de otra estatua / The leg of another statue

Este ejercicio de dibujo me recordó a esas estatuas que hay en el Paseo Los Próceres, en la ciudad de Caracas. En las fuentes, hay una cariátides, o unas ninfas, no sé cómo se llamarán. Ellas están agachadas, y la forma de las piernas dobladas es como la de este dibujo. En este caso, Charles Bargue (el autor del curso de dibujo que seguí para este ejercicio) seguramente se sirvió de algún modelo de una estatua helénica. Para este ejercicio usé un lápiz HB de Paper Mate, y uno 2B de Faber Castell.
Tomé las fotos del proceso y los resultados con mi teléfono. A veces me cuesta documentar todo porque me concentro mucho dibujando.

This drawing exercise reminded me of those statues in the Paseo Los Próceres, in the city of Caracas. In the fountains, there are caryatids, or nymphs, I don't know what they are called. They are bent down, and the shape of the bent legs is like the one in this drawing. In this case, Charles Bargue (the author of the drawing course I followed for this exercise) probably used some model of a Hellenic statue. For this exercise I used a Paper Mate HB pencil and a Faber Castell 2B pencil.
I took photos of the process and the results with my phone. Sometimes it's hard for me to document everything because I concentrate so much on drawing.
