Esta semana habia pensado en ilustrar el rostro de un cantante, pero quería ilustrarlo con unas pinturas que tenía guardadas, así que tome acción y empecé a buscar en la red la fotografía del artista que iba a retratar.
Para este trabajo decidí jugar un poco con la creatividad, no quise pintar al personaje con los tonos reales de su piel, al contrario, busqué dos tonos complementarios que me ayudaran a dar un fuerte contraste.
Mi intención era ilustrar al cantante Bruno Mars, pero al terminar la obra, varias personas me comentaron que el personaje se parecía a Elvis Presly, creo que tienen un poco de razón en eso, pero aquí está el proceso de mi trabajo, junto con el resultado final, para que puedas concluir tú mismo, si se parece a Elvis Presly o quizás a otro Artista.

This week I thought of illustrating the face of a singer, but I wanted to illustrate them with some paintings that I had in storage,so I took action and started searching the web for the photograph of the artist I was going to portray.
For this job I decided to play a bit with creativity, I did not want to paint the character with the real tones of his skin, on the contrary, I looked for two complementary tones that would help me to give a strong contrast.
My intention was to illustrate the singer Bruno Mars, but after finishing the play, several people commented to me that the character looked like Elvis Presly, I think they are a bit right about that, but here is the process of my work, together with the final result, so you can conclude yourself, if it looks like Elvis Presly or maybe another Artist.
Grid 
Primero empecé por dibujar la estructura base, es decir, la cara, para ello siempre uso la cuadrícula como guía para distribuir las proporciones correctamente.
First I started by drawing the base structure, i.e. the face, to do this I always use the grid as a guide to distribute the proportions correctly.
Mi idea con esta obra es abrirme camino en la pintura, independientemente del pigmento utilizado, creo que se pueden conseguir buenos resultados a medida que se adquiere experiencia y habilidad en el área.
My idea with this work is to make my way in painting, regardless of the pigment used, I believe that good results can be achieved as one gains experience and skill in the area.
Los tonos que he utilizado para pintar son el naranja y el turquesa, los había visto antes en otros trabajos, tenía curiosidad por ver cómo se comportarían estos dos tonos en el formato, y no quedan tan mal, pero quizás con otro tipo de tratamiento podrían destacar más.
The tones I used to paint are orange and turquoise, I had seen them before in other works, I was curious to see how these two tones would behave in the format, and they do not look so bad, but perhaps with another type of treatment they could stand out more.
Debo señalar que para el cabello lo rellené con rotulador negro, también di detalles con rotuladores de punta fina que añadieron un toque extra al Arte Final.
I should point out that for the hair I filled it in with black marker, I also gave details with fine tip markers which added an extra touch to the final work.
FINAL ART
Puede que el resultado no haya sido el esperado, pero al menos me siento satisfecho con lo que he hecho. Seguiré dándole rienda suelta a mi creatividad, que por lo visto me da sorpresas. Eso es todo por ahora hivers, nos vemos en mi próximo post, Bye.

Que impresionante, me fije a primera vista pensé en Elvis, pero luego vi el título de tu post y se me pareció a Bruno, y es que ambos tienen un aire además de cierto estilo en el peinado. Me gustaron los colores elegidos, el contraste es muy bueno. Saludos.
