Gracias a ella, pude aprender y practicar ángulos. Creo que es de los primeros dibujos en los que pude lograr un aproximado justo a lo que mi cerebro imaginó en un principio.

Thanks to it, I was able to learn and practice angles. I think it is one of the first drawings in which I was able to achieve a close approximation of what my brain first imagined.

Sus colores rudos, las sombras puras más la pose dominante fueron los principios que usé para esta obra. Quería un dibujo que tuviera trazos bien marcados, donde se sintiera más caricatura que realismo, obviamente resaltando el ángulo.

His rough colors, the pure shadows plus the dominant pose were the principles I used for this work. I wanted a drawing that had well marked strokes, where it felt more caricature than realism, obviously highlighting the angle.

Cuando culminé, me encantó el ambiente desierto que ésta transmitía. Las botas, la iluminación y vestimenta me hicieron imaginar un lugar caluroso.

When I finished, I loved the desert atmosphere it conveyed. The boots, lighting and clothing made me imagine a hot place.

Ay Dios mío, Thia es muy diferente a mí, se ve tan cómoda en ese calor.
¿Se lo pueden creer?

Oh my goodness, Thia is so different from me, she looks so comfortable in that heat.
