Bata is a traditional drum common in the south western part of Nigerian. Among the yoruba tribe. It as a unique sound that create an enormous effect in music.
The Oni-bata is a specialist in bata drum. Mostly, it is an hereditary occupation inherited from ones parent or in the clan. It can also be learnt as well.
