I have been busy with a lot of stress and some other things in my life. So I had to take a break from trying more verities and new experiments with my artistic life. But now the problems caught up with me in the past months got a break so that I could make a come back to my art life.
Today I made a portrait painting of a beautiful model with keen eyes which looked so sharp and curious. I got this reference picture from pinterest.
Here is my painting for today.🌺
also included some pictures of the drawing process so you guys will have a good view of how I made it
I wanted to make this painting with a cartoon style painting. So I started with a soft rough sketch with a black ball pointed pen on the paper. The paper I was using is of normal quality with 200gsm thick.
Let the paper to be fully wet with a full wash all over it. Then allowed it to dry so that the canvas be ready for more watercolor painting.
Made a basic layer of watercolors over the entire scene. I thought it would be helpful in building up the total saturation.
Covered almost every portion of the scene with more colours making it more detailed.
Final step of detailing.
I will be coming in future with more stuff like this, and I hope for your great support from your side will be there.
The painting was inspired from...

Buena técnica de acuarela.....
I am captivated by your watercolor technique, one of my problems is when it comes to shading, but you make it look so easy.
