DRAWING AN ASIAN WOMEN IN TRADITIONAL DRESS ENG / ESP

in Sketchbook2 years ago
Hello friends of Hive! How are you? Today I'm very happy to bring you this drawing I made because I did it experimenting with a totally new style and I colored it with a brush that I never expected to give me a result like this.

Well, let me explain myself better. I have always loved to try new things and not stay stuck in one thing and that's why when I had some time to start drawing with pencil I started to practice with colors and when I had already colored my drawings with these I wanted to try painting so I could experiment and see which way I was left with, if I made pencil drawings, colored them or painted them.

Bueno, me explico mejor.

And this is how I attended a painting workshop and this is when I realized that I was better off doing my drawings in pencil, although being in that workshop they taught me a painting technique that I found beautiful and I loved the finishes that were left and this technique is using watercolors, although I felt that I did not get it like my classmates, I kept trying until I gave up and decided to leave the workshop. As the experience was not very good I decided not to try this technique again until now.

Today's drawing I wanted to try with this technique or at least with the watercolor brushes that comes with the application because I saw a video where the finish that this person gave to the drawing was as nice as the finish with watercolors. At first I thought a lot about it and the truth is that I didn't feel very confident about risking a sketch as beautiful as the one of this girl with her traditional costume but I still wanted to try it and well.... I loved the result! And I hope you like it too.

One thing I failed to clarify is that I used the watercolor brush on the skin only. Although I don't have exactly the step by step of how I was coloring it, and this because I concentrated too much on getting it right and some things I colored directly in a single layer, soon I will add to the drawings that I will publish the color tests and how the brushes look with these colors so you can appreciate more the process of my drawings.

I can't un-reblog something, can I?

Unfortunately no, not that I know of any option to remove the image on the frontend.

Okay, thanks. I feel duped! 😪 and I don't want to spread plagiarism, I'm sorry I re-blogged a fraudulent work.
