We are Hive. There is no Hive other than it's users and what it's users do. That's how this works. That means if we want this place to work, we have to put some energy into it. That doesn't mean we can't have fun with it. I think ideally we will find a way to blend what we love doing with what the platform can benefit from and that's how we find our place on the platform.
I am growing the Hive Cross Culture Community to bridge culture gaps and create some awesome discussion. I am keeping the strong friendships I make here, telling one facebook friend a day about this ecosystem, engaging with various local communities, powering up as much as I can to be able to support contributions to our community, and sharing my passion for life and creativity through articles, vlogs, podcasts, music and stories.
I'm contributing by simply being here and consuming content. :)

I think this is something I can answer with ease... Lolz.
• Spreading the news about hive through referrals. Way before the introduction of the referral links on PeakD and hiveonboard, I have brought in many (Some furiously active and some... Well). Presently, my referral count using the PeakD referral link is 18.
• Creating content mostly outside the field of hive topics itself. I do poetry as well as fictional stories.
• Promoting hive on Twitter. My username on twitter is Tentacles Media and very active with the HIVETwitter campaign actively ongoing. I believe twitter has a reach beyond our scopes and we can get the attention of other quality contents creators as well as the next big Hive whale.

Haha sure it seems far, my plan was to go in early 2021 but due to corona all my plans got pushed back. It was planning to visit some friends in Indonesia and Portugal and Spain first because Africa is still a bit intimidating for me (no offense man, only love but Japan has made me so soft that my hometown in the USA is already foreign to me.) but the more people I meet, the more I want to go.
I was hoping to go to Uganda for Nyege Nyege festival, stop in Ethiopia for some food and history and then go to Nigeria mostly to meet Hive friends. Some of them have become too busy to use hive regularly but so many good vibes from Nigeria on Hive.
Maybe I can convince the Europe and Asia hivesters to come with me and I can meet everyone at once, mini hive culture exchange in Nigeria?

I think Africans are the more receptive especially to foreigners. If mama Africa didn't birth me, she'd have been a choice destination. Well when ever youbso choose to come, we'd be right here.

Right? Africa is the future, or at least I hope it is. It shouldn’t intimidate me but it does. I’m not sure how much is because of false impressions from media (Ebola and malaria, some political instability in some countries) but I am sure there are tons of amazing people, not worried about that. But there are some people who will take advantage in any country, they usually target people who are not familiar with the place, and that will obviously be me. I want to learn as much as I can first. I’m watching Battabox for now and getting to know more Nigerians at Hive.
