A few days ago Microsoft officially confirmed the prices for the new generation of Xbox consoles. $499 for the Xbox Series X to play in 4K, and $299 for the Xbox Series S to play in 1440p. PS5's price hasn't been confirmed yet.
Nvidia, on the other hand, recently announced their new graphic cards, the 30 series, and the most powerful ones are more expensive than these consoles, which means the difference in performance must be huge!
There have never been so many options to play games as of now, consoles and PCs have always been there but now there are powerful smartphones, tablets, as well as streaming services to play games in the cloud.
I wonder if there are people here planning to purchase one of these consoles? Or if you prefer a different gaming platform then could you explain why?
