My new Funko Pop! - Boba Fett

De un tiempo a la fecha, he estado comprando Funkos de Star Wars, ya que quiero aumentar mi colección y siento que los tenía un poco olvidados. Los últimos lanzamientos por parte de Disney, me han motivado a retomar este bonito ocio, claro, solo compro Funkos que realmente me gusten y no solo por acumular. Aunque si hay algunos en oferta, no los dejaré pasar.

El fin de semana pasado, me compré este Funko Pop de Boba Fett, referente a la serie de The Book of Boba Fett. Tuve la fortuna de encontrármelo porque únicamente estaba este en el aparador, sin embargo, si dudé un poco (como dos minutos 😂) en llevármelo por el precio, el cual era de 300 pesos. Lo mejor fue encontrarlo en excelentes condiciones, comento esto porque al ser un supermercado en donde lo compré, este tipo de "coleccionables" suelen ser manipulados por mucha gente y suelen dañan el blíster o la caja.

For some time now, I have been buying Star Wars Funkos since I want to increase my collection, and I feel that I had them a little forgotten. The latest releases by Disney have motivated me to resume this excellent hobby. Of course, I only buy Funkos that I really like and not just accumulate. Although if there are some on offer, I won't let them go.

Last weekend, I bought this Boba Fett Funko Pop, referring to The Book of Boba Fett series. I was fortunate to find it because there was only this one in the window. However, I hesitated a little (about two minutes 😂) to take it because of the price, which was 300 pesos. The best thing was to find it in excellent condition. I comment on this because being the supermarket where I bought it, this kind of "collectibles" are usually handled by many people and usually damage the blister or the box.

Algo particular que suelen tener los Funkos, es que aun estando dentro de la caja suelen lucir y verse bien, pero en este caso siento que no es así. Lo bueno es que nunca dejo mis figuras en su caja, así que saqué a Boba para apreciar sus detalles. Comenzando por la caja, vemos que los colores utilizados van muy de acuerdo a las tonalidades presentadas en la serie. Por la parte posterior, apreciamos que solo hay dos Funkos hasta el momento relacionados con la serie de Boba Fett, la que compré y la de Fennec Shand. A Fennec espero comprarla en las próximas semanas. En los laterales vemos una imagen del Funko y su nombre escrito en letras negritas. Es el Funko Pop número 480 de la saga de Star Wars.

Something particular that Funkos usually have is that even being inside the box, they usually look and feel good, but in this case, I feel that is not the case. The good thing is that I never leave my figures in their box, so I took Boba out to appreciate his details. Starting with the package, we can see the colors used to follow the shades presented in the series. On the back, we appreciate that there are only two Funkos so far related to the Boba Fett series, the one I bought and the Fennec Shand one. Fennec I hope to buy in the coming weeks. We see an image of the Funko and his name written in bold letters on the sides. It is the Funko Pop number 480 of the Star Wars saga.

En el Funko, vemos que las aplicaciones de pintura están en un estilo mate en la parte del casco y en el resto del cuerpo es un poco más brillante. También agregaron pintura plateada en el casco para representar desgaste. En general hay un buen trabajo de pintura, no descuidaron ni el más mínimo detalle.

On the Funko, we see that the paint applications are in a matte style on the helmet part, and on the rest of the body is a bit shinier. They also added silver paint on the helmet to represent wear and tear. Overall there is a good paint job. They did not neglect even the smallest detail.

Físicamente, se ve bien. De hecho, podemos ver que respetaron las clásicas abolladuras del casco. El cohete propulsor y las armas están bien definidos. Inclusive, si prestamos atención en las hombreras, en una de ellas se aprecia la calavera del mythosaurio, símbolo de Mandalore.

Physically, it looks good. In fact, we can see that they respected the classic dents on the hull. The rocket booster and weapons are well defined. Even if we pay attention to the shoulder pads, in one of them, we can see the skull of the mythosaurus, a symbol of Mandalore.

No me arrepiento de haberla comprado, y espero tener a su pareja de equipo próximamente. Si se lo llegan a encontrar, no duden en adquirirlo. 😉
