Cent Tokenomics (November 2024)

Hello dear Cent Community. Last month, the reward distribution period was completed in HBD and Bee liquidity pools. We have restarted the LP reward distribution in these liquidity pools. Approximately 925,000 Cents were minted during this process. 95% of the minted tokens were added to the liquidity pools as rewards. We will restart the distribution in Leo and Pob pools, where the reward distribution period will be completed this month. 265,000 new Cent were staked in the last month. 671,775 new Cent were added to the liquidity pools. And 14,201 Cent were burned.

There are 31,200,405 Cents produced in total. 34.11% of these tokens (10,641,276) were burned. There are 20,559,129 tokens in circulation. 44.28% of the tokens in circulation (9.103.555) were staked. 6.630.981 of the tokens in circulation were added to liquidity pools. 3.426.807 tokens were added to liquidity pools to be distributed to liquidity providers. The remaining tokens are liquid in wallets. Or a sell order may have been placed in Hive/Cent market.

The reward pool generates 5 new tokens per minute. This means 7.200 tokens are generated per day and 2,628,000 tokens per year. The generated tokens are distributed as 50% curator rewards and 50% writer rewards. If the writer uses a community other than Cent's community page when publishing content, a portion of the writer rewards goes to the @centtoken account. 50% of the distributed rewards are automatically staked. If you initiate a power-down, your tokens will be paid out within 28 days (in 4 installments). If you withdraw a Cent delegation, your voting power will return after 7 days.
