RE: The hives that changed my life!

Excellent post! I have always wondered what its like to have wild caught bees. Amazing story from capture, to building their home, to mistakes made (your finger) and finally to having them build and getting honey!

I am quite impressed you built these homes from scratch. I used a kit to build mine but yours look completely custom and they turned out great.

thanks alot for posting in The Pollen Flow community! And hope your hand healed up okay!

Thanks.
The story was really amazing, I could hardly describe it completely .. the finger healed well except for the feeling it had ... it is no longer the same. But I do not regret anything!
I love bees!
And for the rest of my life I will probably watch them!

Its alright, your pictures say a thousand words each. And glad your finger mostly healed, hopefully the nerve damage will heal after a few years... the human body is pretty amazing like that.

Looking forward to your future posts, I saw your bee wax tray bases.. great job! I bought some plastic foundation trays and starter strips then rolled melted bees wax on mine.

Thanks. I'm a little worried about #bees in general this year!
The climate is abnormal and this confuses them.
I hope they start well in the spring.
