I've been trying to find a place where we used to go swimming out near Cristoval, Texas, which is between San Angelo and Eldorado. Looking through Google maps, it looks like Pugh Park.

Except that the park is east of the highway. I remember exiting west. And, it doesn't look like I remember with a small weir. My father would take us there in the summer. I had a good drowning after swinging from a rope despite barely knowing how to swim.
We're not going to barbecue today. Instead, we picked up some hot dogs and hamburger to grill. We never tried throwing corn on the griddle. Let's see how that works out.
