Hello everyone,

In this post I shared with you three different magic playstyles, each one with a different budget and concept, so now I will be sharing with you the results of a deck I created that covers the first playstyle which is Magic Zoo.

This playstyle is very basic and all cards in it are the most common cards in the game so it is excellent for anyone who is just starting the game!

I tested this deck for 25 games and below I will be sharing everything in details!

The deck:

This was the deck that I used since the beginning but the 25 matches are not shown because I switch a card after the second match.

So as you can see, very basic and common cards!

Starting rank:

 " " \" \" \\" \\" \\\"Starting rank zoo mage.jpg\\\"\\"\\"\"\"""

I started the rank from Midnight Shadow since it is the most common one that people start at on weekend ranks and since it is commonly logical that this basic deck can't perform greatly in very high mythic ranks.

End rank:

After 25 games, we ended up in solar gold!

Breakdown of each rank:

Midnight shadow:

Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate

Light 2/2

Death 1/1

Nature 1/2

Mage 1/1

War 2/2

Deception 1/1

Overall 8/9 88%

Auric Gold:

Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate

Light 0/0

Death 0/0

Nature 2/3

Mage 2/3

War 3/5

Deception 0/0

Overall 7/11 63%

Solar Gold:

Matchup Win(s)/Matches Win Rate

Light 0/0

Death 1/1

Nature 1/2

Mage 0/0

War 1/2

Deception 0/0

Overall 3/5 60%

Overall:

 Matchup Win(s)/games Win Rate

Light 2/2

Death 2/2

Nature 4/7

Mage 3/4

War 6/9

Deception 1/1

Overall 18/25 72%

So as we can notice the win rate was slowly dropping each time the rank got higher, however it was still performing decently.

I have not faced again anyone who was de-ranking as well.

Conclusion:

So as we can see this deck is quite decent for players starting their weekend ranks from Midnight Shadow and is perfect for new players since all cards in it are common and free!

The performance of the deck might drop in diamond and mythic (theoretically) but it is good for any new player to master and get good amount of wins in his first weeks of playing!

Here is a video of my 25th game with this deck with me trying to commentate on how to think and what to do with this deck:

In case you like to read and know more about this playstyle, check out my post here.

That was it for this deck, hope it can help anyone lacking cards to get the wins he wants and get better results!

I will be covering the rest of the gods playstyles and testing each playstyle for 25 matches starting from different ranks depending on the deck value!

Mad love, Peace out <3
