The second most exciting CSR legendary card after dralamar or so i thought........

When i first saw this card i thought the devs were finally pushing for control light, until i played it and found out what 'expends' means....
at first i thought expends means unlocking 2 mana locks so you play a card and you ramp 2 and so does your opponent a double edge sword to say the least, but no expends means you add more......

so you play a card and you expend 2 'more' mana for instance you have 5 mana you play a 1 mana cost card you get expended to 3 ending at 2 mana,
totally my fault for reading it wrong.......
the card works great against aggro decks where they have alot of low cost creatures it shuts them off completely

getting it to work behind a frontline is the most optimal
of course since this isn't like how i imagined i don't know how viable this can be for control light

clecle played a list with odessa in it and he did pretty good

looking at the list it's the same as last weekend decks that also did pretty well without odessa so you can't really tell if odessa made any significant difference
it honestly should since the meta is heavily aggro.
anyway that's my 2 cents/ranting about the new CSR legendary that i misunderstood, somewhat disappointed
