Hello everyone!
Today I decided to open up my Devine Order packs I received from the weekend ranked of last week. To my excitement I opened up the pack and received this beauty!
I was quite shocked to be perfectly honest and I'm very happy to have received this card. But I am wondering if I should keep this card or sell it now. Personally I only play Nature, but if there would be a second hero I would try it would be War or Death. So the card is not something I would necessarily run in any of my decks but it could be in the future.
I play this game mostly for entertainment, I love cardgames and I play this game with my best friend so for me it is mostly about fun. However, the ability to earn some money from playing is also an added benefit.
So because I don't really play the card, I'm thinking of selling it and using the money for buying something physical I enjoy, like pokemon cards. But I don't really need the money right now, so if the card is likely to become more valuable in the future, I would like to hold on to it so I can sell it later for more.
I noticed that most meteorite commons from DO are only worth $0.05, which is logical because the set is still out and people can still pull the card + there is a lot of them available. But if I compare it to a set which is not available anymore, like for example Genesis, the cheapest common is around $0.70. I think Genesis cards are worth more because there are less of them available since fewer people played and earned them at the time. But is it wrong to assume that when DO is no longer available, card prices will increase like with Genesis?
I also know that when the forge adds the feature to forge shadows, golds and diamonds, this will impact the price. For Thunder Caller, if I buy 5 golds it will cost me around $300 at the moment while the diamond costs around $500.
So as you can see, I have arguments for and against selling now. I understand that no one can predict what prices are going to do and that any advice given is mostly speculation but if anyone is more familiar with what prices do when for example the forge opens higher tiers or when the set becomes unavailble to earn, could you give me some advice about holding or selling and why?

Damn. Brother, congrats, that's an amazing pull! This is my opinion and NOT financial advice; that said, I will hold on to that card. First, the DO cards are undervalued because they are still up for sale and can be balanced until they are locked. When cards are fused, it makes the card rarer, which in turn pushes the price up (Core Cards have a different outlook, although, with fusing, it will push card pries). Another factor yet to be implemented is earning Gods for higher shine decks, which again pushes higher shine card prices. Thanks for taking the time to let me know what you think. I know the market is unpredictable so ofc I will hold no-one accountable for their advice but your reasoning is clear. I do agree that DO cards are undervalued atm so I will hold on to this card for now. Great point about the higher shine for $GODS implementation, I knew about it but hadn't considered it in relation to the card value yet. So again, thanks for the "advice" in a way, it really helped me make a decision!

Congrats on the pull! Since the market for diamonds is relatively illiquid, it can be hard to sell at a good price in my opinion. (also because there are currently no benefits to using higher quality cards yet) IMO I'd hold on to it for a bit, but if you wanna cash it in there's no guilt in doing so too.
