Hey! Feel free to make short posts!

in Gods On Chain10 months ago

This has been coming up a bit lately, and I want to make sure everyone understands: there is ZERO penalty for posting more often. Quite the contrary. I want to encourage people to post more often. Feel free to stick with 1-2 high-quality posts a week in hopes of getting nice curation, but I'm not counting it against you if you post a super short post (like this one!) that says something like:

"OMG AZAIAH IS BUSTED" and then rant about wanting it nerfed. I may not nominate that post for a big hive reward, but we'll all upvote it ourselves.

No penalty for quick posts!

Short post are not bad, though most people just can't be snappy, lol! And again, I think Hive respect more of long posts.

I am posting quality posts throught the week, at least i am trying.

To be honest OMG AZAIAH IS BUSTED is the biggest post i have ever seen cz it hots on so many levels

been a while since i last posted, just got back to playing GU so i might start posting again soon hopefully.

Short form posts are a valuable piece of content creation and networking and we should embrace them on Hive if we want to keep growing our user base.

If you are encouraging Gods Unchained community members to post short form posts, may I suggest they start doing so in the Threads section of the Gods on Chain community?

These Threads do not trigger autovotes, populate the Threads section of the community, and are a great way to connect with other players without spending too much time with long form posts.

If you go to the GoC community on InLeo you just need to check the Threads section, it's a parallel feed with the long form feed.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've not used threads, but I will try to start and I encourage our users to do the same.

Of course it depends on a person's time, sometimes a person is busy, so he can do a short post.

Hope you feel good and write something new

I feel somehow sometimes the way short post are been downgraded on hive
