It's a little out of date at the moment (probably due to Holidays), but let's take a look.

In Production

An automated weekend reward system has been needed for a long time. Let's hope they get that released and behind them quickly. Manual distribution for a blockchain game is a bad look and it has to waste so much of their time.

The Star Store cards item is intriguing. Surely it couldn't just be turning the store back on (but maybe). The extra note about IMX rollout makes me think that perhaps this is related to making meteorite/shadow cards from the store actual NFTs. A great addition to the P2E aspect of the game. Fingers crossed.

Core set refresh is exciting. The meta will never be the same again. Looking forward to it.

Daily P2E rewards is what is coming up after the Blessing of The Gods event is over. BoTG was most likely extended over the holiday break so devs could enjoy time with their families and not have to rush to get the daily P2E system up. Let's hope they are refreshed and ready to make this happen. Can't wait to see how they implement shiny earning bonuses.

The Future

So much to be hyped about this year. Expanded forge to make shadow+ quality cards. The next set. Collection titles revisited are all interesting.

Evolution! Instead of upgrading card quality in the forge, evolution is the idea that you could combine cards to make other/rarer cards. We only have the slightest idea what this will mean, but one thing is for certain: this will increase buying pressure for cards just like the forge. Let's hope it also means we can convert our 5x Grumpy Chests into something worthwhile.

Sealed Deck! Did you know there was briefly a sealed deck mode? It's a new game mode where you are given (e.g.) 60 random cards and you have to build a deck of 30. It goes without saying that sealed mode has zero pay-to-win advantage. RNG? Yes of course, but not P2W.

One other one on there that is interesting to me (that I'm going to wildly speculate on) is the username policy. Devs have been talking with community members about deck peaking. (Looking up your opponent's name on gudecks.com and guessing which deck they are playing.) Lots of us hope this gets addressed. Something simple like hidden names until after the fight would fix it. More complex options (like opting into showing your deck) are being considered.

Conclusion

Use Trello to keep up with what's coming. You can tell from the dates of the tasks that this isn't the most up to date. Hopefully, devs will see more community interest in Trello and keep it more current.
