Achieving My Highest Ever Mythic Rating + Opening a Legendary Pack + FORGE!

Whewwwww! This has been a week chockfull of some of the most difficult Gods Unchained matchups I've ever faced. One of the reasons for that is because I was able to get my Mythic rating to the highest level I've ever reached, and thus the opponents I was facing leveled up pretty quick. But when you go on a run, sometimes things can get spicy with your gameplay and let you keep racking up wins on a hotstreak! However, as quickly as it rockets up, your rating can also drop down, but we'll get to that later.

Now, bear in mind, for some of y'all this is small fry talk. Y'all probably live in Mythic and only derank if needed for weekend ranked rewards or some other reason. However, given that I've only ever reached Mythic rank 3 times in my time playing Gods Unchained, this was a big deal for me. So....I started takings screenshots for this post when I got excited, and luckily the hits kept coming!

I started at my highest rating to date, which came at 1450 after 3 straight wins in Mythic.

The fourth win a row brought us a bump higher...

And I was already stoked at this point, but then...

This was getting kind of wild, and I knew had to enjoy the meteoric rise while it lasted. Finally, we topped out with one more win...

1484! Freakin huge for me fam! Not going to lie, this was really cool for me, and I knew I'd have a new highest rating achieved now on my profile on GUdecks. And to do so during the Weekend Ranked event, while up in the Mythic tier was pretty dang cool of an experience. Of course at that point I was dreaming of some big time rewards, as I had 8 wins in 11 matches, but I knew I had to take it one match at a time and not worry about how it all ended up. Also, take a look at what was coming up...

A legendary pack was coming up once I hit Level 150! I only had a little bit more to go, and things were looking good. However, as quickly as things can accelerate positively, they can also drop off a cliff lol. And that's why we stay humble. I proceeded to lose 7 of my next 10 matches, which dropped my rating all the way back into the high 1300s, and destroyed the dreams of epic weekend ranked rewards....but such is life!

I ended up with 14/25 wins in weekend ranked, which was a big bummer since we didn't get any of the bonus Mythic rewards, but still, I walked away with a really cool experience that I'll remember. Also, we unlocked the Legendary pack for reaching Level 150. Let's take a look at what that held!

There it is y'all! An Asterius, The Glittering One. I already had two copies of this card, so I went ahead and decided to head over to the Forge and craft a Meteorite version of Asterius to celebrate!

Whooooooop! I'll take it. Heck of a weekend ranked event, heck of a run in Mythic compared to what I'm used to, unlocking a Legendary pack, fusing a legendary card to meteorite, and being able to lock in my 4 points for Blessing of the Gods this week. Sheesh. I'm a happy camper. It's the little things, and these were pretty cool moments for a small fry like me!

So stoked to see what next week holds in GU gameplay, and will keep looking to become a better player day by day!
