Gods Unchained: Get Wild! Get Lucky! Deck

in Gods On Chain3 years ago

Firstly, this post is my entry for @jungleboy1 giveaway (Nature Card Giveaway) #Natureunchained Thank you in advance! 😁

So, here is it! A WILD and LUCKY deck paired with Selena's Mark. It is more like a Big Creature + Mid Range kind of deck.

Why WILD?
Just look at the number of wild creatures!

What are the Combos?
Pairing these with Moonlight Charm and Wildfire is just deadly. Moonlight Charm can work in early game with Marsh Walker, Black Jaguar or even Rabid Bear. Of course, if I get the chance to pair it with Overgrown Rhino and Brazen Moose, then the win is half in the bag ✌️

Wildfire is best used after Bladefly or Falling Star or if you have accumulated 2 or more WILD creatures on the board. Useful for clearing out the annoying "protection" too. Psychologically, it also does make the enemy feel overwhelmed 😎

Why LUCKY?
This deck does require some element of LUCK as well.

  1. Selena's Mark, Feral Cat, Low-Hanging Fruit, Canopy Barrage and The Hunt all need to hit the right creatures. The best way to ensure you hit your mark is to isolate the enemy first.

  2. Majority of the WILD creatures are also confused so they need to co-operate with your command and hit where you point!

  3. The last luck factor is New Growth and Blood & Bone. I like to have some uncertainty (it's a double-edge sword though!) and if these draw me Genesis card, that can throw the enemy off-guard.

Strategy for this Deck
As they always say, if you failed to plan, you plan to fail.

Best way or my ideal plan to start this deck is with Marsh Walker + Moonlight Charm and clear out any creatures as they come out with Canopy Barrage or Vanguard Axewoman. As the game hits turn 4 or 5, either have the big creatures (Overgrown Rhino or Brazen Moose) out or mass spam creatures using Bladefly or Falling Star. If I am having a tough time, I usually hope my Guild Enforcer can defend for a bit while waiting to use The Hunt, Giant Pangolin and Charging Oryx. As for Gersemi, Freyja's Spear, it is really just to reinforce the big creatures or if I have a really bad draw, I just summon early to trade it off with enemy creatures. Along the way, if I have spare mana, I will use New Growth and Blood & Bone to hopefully get some power cards.

What to do if I don't get the draw I want?
Of course, life don't always go the way you want it to. But as far as possible, I will try to stay positive and execute some of the combos mentioned earlier. I would try to have 1 or 2 creatures stay alive always so that I can at least counter with buff spells. This deck cannot drag out too late especially if the enemy is a super late game deck. If by late game, my Guild Enforcer, Giant Pangolin and Charging Oryx are all destroyed, then I am most likely done for too. Next thing I can do is PLAY THE NEXT GAME! 🤣

What happens if I win the giveway? 😍
I know I don't get to choose even if I win but the cards I would desire most are the WILD cards (either the Crescent Werewolf or Guerilla Gardener). What better way to add to a WILD deck, right? I could possibly swap Black Jaguar out for Crescent Werewolf and Charging Oryx out for Guerilla Gardener.

Code for the Deck
Hope you all find this deck interesting and useful! Feel free to try it out. Any feedback to make it better and more deadly are welcome!
