Hello everyone,
I frequently get asked in my YouTube videos for "less expensive decks" as I go on posts and rants about my decks which can cost northwards of $4,000 USD (Demogorgons are not cheap these days). I feel that the two best options are aggressive nature and war decks in the current meta if you would like to compete at the mythic level. In part one of my "balling on a budget" sub-series of my original series "Pilots Guide" we will take a deeper examination at aggro nature.
Overall costs for this deck is around $36 USD as of writing of this article with the mana curve and overall feel for this deck you are not giving up much compared to the more expensive versions (EX: Pyramid Wardens/Underbrush Boars are run in these). The strategy for this list is to acquire early board presence and to hopefully maintain it throughout the game. Ultimately you won't be able to out-value your opponent's late game, but you know what the best counter to a Demogorgon is in Gods Unchained? Killing your opponent before they reach 7 mana.
Another fun fact is this list will be tournament legal for my upcoming Toxic tournament! (Format is rares/commons only from the sets Welcome, Core, Divine Order). I expect lists very similar to this to be a popular deck type it would be ideal strategy to either learn how to pilot this type of list before the tournament and/or how to counter this type of list.

This is such a great video. Really, really instructive for new players. I liked a lot how you described your thought process during the replays. About the restricted deck, I think it's a fantastic idea to help budget players, which will be a lot in the forthcoming weeks. Can't wait for the next budget decks videos!
Interesting the guild enforcer makes sense as it shut me out of various matchups. I need to update mine to better compete in the current meta.
I need to fit celestial stag in my deck but i'll probably test it at 1x as im unlucky and will probably draw 2.
How do we get that deck list view that you showed in the beginning.
Also is another round banned or something as i was trying to add it to my nature deck but wasn't allowed.
I'm always a huge fan of your content, but I think you need to create as if you are talking to a rather new player it can be hard at times cause skillsets and the knowledge you have already in game.
The decklist I was showing at the beginning was on GUdecks.com (link for your reference) https://gudecks.com/decks/GU_1_5_CATCATCArCArCAtCAtCAuCAuCBxCBxCCOCCOCDLCDLHAEHAEHAFHAFIATIATICHICHIDFIDFIDKIDKIDMIDMIDNIDN?godPowers=100121&creator=[TOXIC]%20FakeMews&userId=147667&archetype=Big%20Beasts%20Nature
Another Round is a war-class specific card so it is not legal in a nature deck. You can only play Another Round in your war decks.
Yeah I also agree that learning on what points to focus is important for me in the content creation aspect. The things I worry about in certain lists are likely not concerns or even thoughts for a lot of people. But explaining the process is always important over time the more videos I make I should improve (in theory).
Ah thanks for that I must have overlooked that part on another round.
Yeah true content creation is quite fascinating to me. Maybe you feel as if certain lists are out of people's ranges, but maybe there are certain principles and theories that while you explain in your list people can help find alternatives for or you may already know a budget versions.
I'm sure anything you decide to put your mind to you will improve at. The strategic mindset developed through the other card games and chess will help you navigate many things. I personally like a trial and error approach because sometimes we may not know what the audience truly want until it is created.
Can't wait for Core Set Refresh so we can make more viable F2P content.
