There Be Dragons
The new set promo card has been released and it's a DRAGON. More than any other tribe, I just want Dragons to be a thing.
Price Prediction
The promos for Divine Order were 6 different rats, and assuming for the new set there will only be one Dragon and that it will have the same drop-rate as the rats, that puts the total supply at around 250 Meteorite copies after 6 months of sales. Most of the rats are around $400-600 in price, but with the Dragon being a single card it will be less rare than the ~1/40 rats (though 1/250 is still extremely rare).
However, this card also seems more playable than the rats and is legendary and thus will be seen as more desirable. That also being said, Immutable has completely devalued all their cards with insane power creep and rekt investors are not looking to get burned further. Only idiots will buy this card for a hefty price. (See: me)
So my price prediction medium-term for this dragon is ~$200. Short-term will be wild with price discovery and very limited supply; someone will inevitably buy it for $1500 (0.5 ETH), and someone for $50.
How Does it Work?
I've ready been asked this, so just to clarify, you will need a FULL 9 card hand in order for this to proc. Not an easy task. One that may (hopefully) keep the price reasonable enough that I can get my hands on one.
What Decklist Does This Actually Work In?
To be clear I don't think this card is going to change the game. It's not amazing. I still REALLY want one, as I want a Dragon deck super bad.
Board Wipe Death Dragons might very well become the new hot archetype if it gets ANY support at all in the new set (though I've heard the set is leaked and there may not be many dragons. RIP. I hope that is incorrect info.). With the CSR update the Void Drake is now a F2P Apocalypse Now (7 mana (conditional) board wipe). Ladon can reduce the cost of all Dragons in hand to 0 as well, making it a real payoff if you also play Ashen Drakes.
BWD has a ton of card draw, and getting to 9 cards quickly is possible though not easy. And in a deck where your only goal is to stall your opponent from hitting your face, this Dragon definitely could be a welcome asset. Throw in Nerferu's Sacrifice God Power to draw an extra card and you've got a very real shot at making this meme dream a reality.
Let's pray no one buys the Dragon, because let's be real, it's normally going to be a 3 mana 2/3. And that no one wants to buy it for more than $200!

I think Echo cards slightly buff the dragons as they add one card to your hands when play, which mean your hand size doesn't change.
And you got some 1 mana special function cards for difference situation, it's kinda good in combo deck.
I personally think this promotes dragon is useful than the Mythic card.

I think the dragon will be quite playable in other decks although BWD seems like the most obvious fit for it. Perhaps it could work well with card generators like Grove Summon and Photogenesis to pull this card out relatively early 🤔
