Anatomy of a Gods Unchained Card - Simple, Straightforward Diagram of GU Cards

in Gods On Chain3 years ago

Sup Mortals, new here and thought I'd start out by sharing a GU Card diagram I made. Something I wish I had when I started playing a year ago. Lots of detail in a single card so if you're new I hope this comes in handy!

I am no graphic artist, so any honest feedback or suggestions is useful to me. There is a ton of info I could have added but my goal was to keep it clean & simple. Also @copperpitch was a huge help in my early days of GU so if you're reading this feel free to use this in your videos!

Excited to be here, Enjoy! :)

Sick chart. I was having a really hard time differentiating between sets until I came across this. It actually deterred me from playing in a tournament because I couldn't figure out the set bans! Thank you!

Great infographic! Very useful for anyone starting out with the game. It might be a good addition to show in the quality section at the bottom, the forge "crafting cost": that a meteorite is worth 2 plains, a shadow card is worth 5 meteorites, and so on. You could even add a little note that reads that in the forthcoming future, higher quality cards will provide higher daily $GODS rewards.

Great feedback, thank you! I was thinking of designing a separate diagram that is basically the legend to this containing all of the keywords with descriptions

Really nice job! This helped so much! Was wondering how to tell the difference between the sets, thankyou

This diagram is soooo good! Very useful to any newcomer :) Thanks

This was definitely a great initiative you took in making this chart. This is the epitome of quality content for me especially in terms of onboarding new players. I could see one highlighting the various gods in game and key strategies as one also, but just isnt in my range of expertise to be advising on.

Looks really great and helpful for newcomers! Pinned it onto the community!

Well done. Very illustrative.

This is really kind of you for making this, It's sure as hell going to be helpful for a ton of new comers out there including me 🙌

I've been playing for a few weeks now and this just answered all card-related questions I was still confused about. Thank you so much for this!!

I was just looking for something like that today trying to figure out the how to differentiate sets. The icon is too small to notice.

Any idea how many people play this game?

This is exactly what I was looking for, yesterday, when trying to quickly sort out sets in the card market(s)! For the lock symbol at the top, is that unique to core cards, or is that ANY card you haven't minted to Meteorite+? That seems like something useful to add if you do an update.

Thanks for the feedback! The lock symbol exists only on plain quality core cards indicating a non-nft but can be minted into an nft in the forge. Welcome cards don't have the lock symbol because they don't have the ability to be minted

This is super helpful especially for newcomers to the game!

This is awesome. An addition of the effects like armor, burn, flank, deadly, etc would be nice as well.

Thx for sharing ! I don't quite understand why sometimes I attack enemies cards, my card health will be down , but sometimes not! Anyone can help ? Thx

great infographic. really helpful. appreciate it!

Great graphic! Wish there was an easier way to distinguish the sets directly on the cards, it's going to get even more confusing as new sets get released 😄

Hi I'm newbie in this game, and this info graphic is such good one, but what's the lock icon at the top portion of the card for?

Oh nevermind, i found the answer in one of comments, thanks!
