Gods Unchained is an amazing game, but even the best games have some flaws. The main problem right now(IMO) is a weekend event. The concept of it is really good and it's a common practice in card games, but it has one big big problem which a lot of people really hate:
DERANKING
To solve it, we firstly need to understand what causes people to derank.
People derank because in their opinion, they won't win anything in their current rank and it's MUCH easier to get 16 wins on Midnight Shadow rank, then getting the same amount on the Eternal Diamond. But as you probably know, the rewards for both of them are the same.
So what can the devs do to solve this problem?
The obvious solution would be remaking a reward table, so the rewards for EVERY rank would be different. That would encourage people to play on their own rank and don't lower it for the weekends. Devs already introduced the changes and this information is also in their roadmap, but sadly we don't know when will this change hit the official servers.

I agree that is a huge problem because at some lower levels you can sometimes see decks filled with legendaries on lower level and that just makes for a poor game experience. Also I think the team needs to hire more people for R&D so during the rebalancing phase less cards are changed so drastically.
A rotating ban list could be good too of 10-20 cards to get people to switch around decks at the top end.
