Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. Busy days are still here. It's a good thing I still have some time to play. But then the trend that I noticed after the release of the new set is still here and it keeps getting prevalent every day. At this moment I have no deck that can dominate in the current meta. The best any of my decks can do is a 50% win rate. Before my win rate was above 50% but now it is getting harder and harder to win 50% of the games.

That said, I tried to stick to my Food Chain deck, which can potentially beat any deck in the current meta and it is a good thing that it can still win 50% of the matches, so, today, my record is at 5 out of 10 games.

In this match, I am up against another variant of the Food Chain Nature deck. In this kind of match, the one who first completes the combo will be the likely victor of the game.

I am always looking for 1 or 2 combo cards and 1 card that I can start for the first turn.

My opponent did not play any cards. I played Wind-up Roller.

My opponent played Jawbone Scuttler. I played Underbrush Board and I went face.

My opponent played his god power. I played Encumbered Looter and Marshwalker.

My opponent played Staff of Roots, Leviathan Scales, and his god power. He attacked and went face. I played Revivification and I killed one of his creatures and I went face.

My opponent played Zaskia and killed two of my creatures. I played The Trial Begins and I got Bladefly from my deck. I killed his confused Badger.

My opponent killed one of my creatures using Zaskia and used his god power to summon another confused Badger. I played Bladefly and I drew a card using Vow and champions. I played food chain.

My opponent played Lightning Strike and he attacked one of my creatures, he played his god power. But then he conceded and it was GG.
