Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. My Mythical War deck has fallen out of meta and can no longer be maintained or maintained at Auric Gold. So, I decided to go off-meta and see if I can make progress from Midnight Shadow to Auric Gold or even better.

It has been a long time since I have seen a card of Nature with hidden capability. Until now, I haven't seen anyone try to use a Nature deck with the element of hidden. In this blog, I have tried that, and indeed, it gave me promising results.

Mulligan

I usually use Animal Bond against any Death Deck.

1 Mana

I played Pyreshell Beetle. My opponent played Wind-up Roller.

2 Mana

I played Staff of Roots. I killed Wind-up Roller and I went Face. My opponent played Vrock.

3 Mana

I played Feral Shapeshifter and I killed Vrock. I went face. My opponent played Sulfuric Rain and summoned Vrock from the Void.

4 Mana

I played Bladefly and Marshwalker. I went face. My opponent played a 3/2 card and another Vrock.

5 Mana

I played Firewine and I went face. I got Swashbuckler from the Sanctum and it was GG.
