[Gods Unchained] The Newbie Saga Part 4.

in Gods On Chain3 years ago (edited)

Hello, my friends!

We are back, I'm sorry for the delay, I was crazy to post, but the last few days were hectic!

Today our part 4 will be a little different, at this moment we don't have any changes in our War Deck, so, let's go to the second deck that I've found in Gods Unchained, the Nature Starter Deck.

Here we have another new THUMBNAIL!!!

Our new THUMB was made by my dear friend @ogreartworks in Adobe Photoshop, there's a video of the making off at the end of the post.

First of all, before showing our creatures, let's go to the concept of our Deck!
This deck has a great variation in its mana cost, but here we will always focus on the higher cost creatures.
The lower-cost creatures (1,2) and medium-cost creatures (3,4) serve basically to hold the game for the late game and help us survive.
When we gain time with our pawns, we can already see the big picture, reaching the creatures of cost 5 the game is very complicated for our opponents, let's take a look.

  • 2x Untamed Regrowth - A good card for early game, combats well with Best Friends (if we have 3 mana, we can invoke 2 creatures, make use of Untamed Regrowth and then, play Best Friends), if we don't have this combo, we simply invoke more creatures.
  • 2x Best Friends - Very good to hold the game, with only one card we can give work to two enemy monsters when used at its full potential.
  • 1x Springbloom hunter - A simple card, but has good survival potential thanks to its Regen ability.
  • 1x Dockside Prowler - A good creature to almost always guarantee early game kills, unless it is destroyed by spells or monster effects, its first attack is accurate.
  • 1x Vanguard Axewoman - I really like this one, most decks have creatures with high strength and not so much defense, this card is great to show those creatures that strength is not everything.

  • 1x Panacean Messenger - A great support card that also has value in terms of cost, strength, and defense.
If well used, we can hold at least two rounds for our big creatures to shine soon enough.

  • 2x Aspect of the Axolotl - Here we have one a bit out of the curve, I like to use it with cost 3 or higher creatures, a strong creature with this buff is very dangerous and can decide games.
  • 1x Hunt Warden - simply a creature with very strong status, imagine with a buff? xD
  • 1x Barbed Portcullis - A frontline is always welcome when we want to get further in the game, opens windows for creatures to grow, and for new stronger ones to come safely.

  • 2x Jump on! - I like this card VERY much, I find it extremely strong! Its buff is permanent and at this point of the game, we are almost reaching our strongest creatures right?! All we want from them is more firepower, but if that's not enough, it also allows us to annihilate the opponent's field without much effort when well used.
  • 1x Underbridge Assailant - A very strong creature with life recovery, can be of good use when buffed at the right time.

  • 2x Escaped Silverback - Arriving at cost 5, we are faced with much stronger creatures, like this one. A card strong in the status of strength and defense, its effect still facilitates the team to finish creatures that may be a nuisance.
  • 2x Wildroot Staff - The weapons of the gods are among my favorites, we can see that in this deck the potential to buff our creatures is huge, already at this point, an effect like this can be what makes the game unrecoverable for the opponent.
  • 1x Flamecaller -
  • 1x Riled Ursine - This backline becomes very strong at the beginning of the late game, where we want to have many creatures on the field and hopefully some of them buffed, which makes it very difficult to get to the Flamecaller, making the enemy's game desperate and slowly draining all their creatures to defeat.
  • 1x Summoner's Guide - This has a very strong defense, which makes it perfect for its effect! Since it can take a lot of damage, probably for a few turns, we can guarantee to damage our opponent without him being able to do anything.

  • 1x Rotting Mount - A creature with a very strong general status and that still fills the bag with its effect, summoning a small ally, can serve as a defense for a Flamecaller for example.
  • 1x Hired Muscle - Frontlines are mostly known for their great defense, but Frontlines that also have good strength is insane! That's exactly what this card does, bringing good firepower and protection at the same time, perfect for our larger creatures to come into play.
  • 1x Echocaster - A good card, defends against spells and makes it possible for us to buff our heavy creatures even more since we recover a magic card, and there is no lack of magic cards with buff power in this deck.

cost_7.png

  • 2x Charging Oryx - FINALLY we get to the heavy creatures, if we can get here, it's more than halfway there! This creature has its differential, it attacks as soon as it enters the field, hardly the target will survive, but most importantly, if there are no frontlines, Oryx can attack the enemy god directly.
  • 1x Juggernewt - Here we have our frog! His status is almost as strong as Oryx's, he can also attack as soon as he is summoned, however, the enemy god can't be his first target (still a very heavy creature that will guarantee slaughter).

  • 1x Achillean Dedicant - This and the next one are the strongest creatures of our Nature Deck, the Achillean is simply insane, with all this firepower he can already attack, has immunity to spells, but what gives more fear in our enemies, is the fact that he does not get hurt with the first attack, we have an enemy creature destroyed without side effects.
  • 1x Reckless Flamebreather - Dragon cards are my favorite, will we ever have a Dragon God Deck? Imagine a deck full of dragons! The effect of this dragon is one of the strongest I've seen among creatures, simply so devastating that it reaches even the own allies, and a great card to be played after the Achillean, since it will defend itself from the dragon's magic, or we can play it as a last resource to finally finish the game.

I'm looking forward to our first Nature Deck upgrades, in the next post I'll bring you the first changes.
Thanks and have a great week!

That's a bit of an unusual deck. I might try it see if it works with me. Love the edit as well keep it up

Ty for the comment bro!
Yes, it is an unusual deck. The cause is a deck made with the first cards you receive in the Nature Deck.
Maybe today, I'll come with the first updates.
