Some time ago I was invited to this hardcore celebration of skateboarding and Rock’n’roll cooperation. The psychedelic/stoner/rock’n’roll jam performed by Heavy Stone TelAviv’s band was electrifying and colorfully vibrant exactly as it should be in order to bring several hours of energy to the group of skateboarders.
A few words about the gear and technique I used for this set. I love taking pictures in extremely low-light condition situations and felt myself in the right place and time. the difficult part was the movement of skateboarders and the big space of the ramp. as usual, I don’t use the lens and this night wasn’t an exclusion – Sigma 35mm and Canon 24-70mm (the last one was unconditionally stuck on 24 focal lengths). for all images, I used TV priority mode with ISO 3200 and shutter speed between 45 and 125 plus +1-1.5 AV compensation.
And the short video was taken with my smartphone just to get the vibes of this night.
