Just quietly I think most pools that are made as pools are not made for skating XP
Is that why it's "forbidden fruit"? XD
I really appreciate your old photos and stories from a historical perspective as much as a skater one :)

Yeah, the main reason is we had do sneak in to skate them and there is always the danger of being kicked out, a gun aimed at us or getting the cops called. On top of that, the added effect that they were not made for skating, so they were not perfect and each had their own oddities and weird transitions, etc.
