Uganda Connection Documentary Screening

During the event in Guareí, we had the privilege of sharing the screening of the documentary Uganda Connection with the audience. This film powerfully and authentically captures the transformative experience we had in Uganda. It not only portrays the realities and challenges faced by local communities but also highlights how skateboarding has become a powerful tool for inclusion, hope, and social change.

This journey was more than just a trip; it was an opportunity for mutual learning, solidarity, and strengthening global connections through skateboarding. Having this moment documented and now presented in Guareí reinforces the importance of spreading these stories to inspire impactful actions.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to this project, especially Gnars, for believing in the power of this initiative and making this mission possible, and to the Skate Transforma Vidas project, which has tirelessly driven social change. A heartfelt thank you goes to my brother Renan Carvalho for his outstanding work in recording and editing the documentary, which beautifully conveyed the essence of our experience.
