Hello there! So just wanna share that as the contagious manic pixie that I am, I was able to convince my friends to buy their own longboards. Some of them just tried riding 2 days ago, some just this month, me for 3 months now. We tried this downhill thing and wow!!!! Oh boy! It was fun!!!! I was scared that they won't try riding again after that bail cos two of them fell. This was the first time that one of them tried riding a longboard and he fell. I am glad he still joined us the next day yay! Good thing no one got hurt 😁
We've been skating for four consecutive days now hahahhahahahaha one even brought her work to our spot just so she can join skating lol 🤣
BTW, they just recently signed up for skate hive platform. I invited them. 😅
We do have someone to guide us though - his name is Yohan - he's been (I think it's called) freeriding since 2012 so yeah whooo!
I didn't expect we'd fall in love with skate/longboarding, now that we're a bunch of oldies (27 to 29-year olds) hahahahahahahhahahaha thanks Daryl! You have no idea how much help this is to our sanity! @howweroll - you should do a sliding 101 and then we'll try to practice next week!!

I love seeing the people growing the longboard and downhill scene. The stoke is real! I hope once COVID gets more under control that longboard events and races come back stronger than ever.
