Todos los años durante nuestra conferencia de Rotary tenemos una fiesta de gala, este año no fue la excepción y la verdad no quería gastar dinero en un vestido nuevo porque rara vez es algo que usas más de una vez siendo una etiqueta tan formal, así que me decidí ponerme un vestido que mandé a usar para otra gala que también fue ese año, pero con distintas personas (así que no me iban a decir Lizzie Mcguire), lo que decidí hacer fue complementarlo de manera bastante distinta, con la temática de la gala, de hecho, este vestido lo mande a hacer negro y súper simple para hacer exactamente eso, darle varios usos de distintas maneras. No había subido nada de esto, porque ese día estaba básicamente MURIENDO de fiebre jajaja!
El tema de gala era "Cayenas en la pequeña Venecia" que son una flor típica de dónde se hizo la gala, así que me puse a buscar algún accesorio que fuese con esto y conseguí unas cayenas tejidas en canutillo INCREÍBLES, así que las pedí. Me gustó mucho que eran enormes y coloridas así que destacaban mucho sobre la sobriedad del vestido negro. Otra cosa que quería que me ayudara con el efecto un poco más relajado era el cabello, así que intenté hacerme un look "mojado" como con un kilo de gelatina que afortunadamente se veía bastante bien.
El maquillaje fue un reto porque estaba demasiado quemada, entonces la base y el polvo no quedaban con el tono de piel, tuve que hacer milagros para que se viera presentable, pero no voy a negar que me veo como a parches jajaja! En general me gustó mucho está pinta y todos tuvieron que ver con los zarcillos.
Every year during our Rotary conference we have a gala party, this year was no exception and I really didn't want to spend money on a new dress because it is rarely something that you wear more than once being such a formal label, so I decided to wear a dress that I sent to use for another gala that was also that year, but with different people (so they weren't going to call me Lizzie Mcguire), what I decided to do was to complement it in a very different way, with the theme of the gala, in fact, I had this dress made black and super simple to do exactly that, to give it several uses in different ways. I hadn't uploaded any of this, because that day I was basically DYING of fever hahaha!
The gala theme was "Cayenne in Little Venice" which are a typical flower from where the gala was held, so I went looking for some accessory that went with this and got some AMAZING canutillo woven cayenne, so I ordered them. I really liked that they were huge and colorful so they really stood out against the sobriety of the black dress. Another thing I wanted to help me with the slightly more relaxed effect was the hair, so I tried to do a "wet" look like with a kilo of jelly which luckily looked pretty good.
The makeup was a challenge because I was too burnt, so the foundation and powder didn't match my skin tone, I had to work miracles to make it look presentable, but I'm not going to deny that I look patchy hahaha! Overall I really liked this look and they all had to do with the tendrils.
