The season of gift giving is coming to a close. Today I wanted to share a review of gifts I made, bought, and received while visiting California. Starting with these tiny herbal sachets that decorated just about every gift bag and wrapped present that I gave.

Infusing a gift with magick and intention doesn't have to be complicated. Using homegrown herbs is a great shortcut to filling a gift with beauty and charm. And and a short & sweet note can transmit the true message you wish to convey to the receiver.
And it is funny how the intention of one gift can be returned in another gift later on. For example, my extended family got together for a Christmas Eve celebration on the 24th. Each person was to prepare an anonymous gift that would be randomly selected by someone else, white elephant style.
I chose a couple of my favorite California products, a chocolate bar infused with cannabis and a half a dozen pre-rolls. I was pleased when one of my cousins reached for my present and she in turn was very happy to see the items inside.
Then, days later we went to visit some family friends. They took us on a tour of their garden where I was gifted an armful of fruit as well as a couple of buds from their autumnal marijuana harvest. Yay!
Christmas has passed of course, but tomorrow is New Year's Eve ~ another occasion for gift giving. Especially of the more enchanted kinds of gifts. I am looking forward to re-uniting with a couple of friends I haven't seen in years.
Now doubt plenty of magick will take place when the three of us get together in the winter wonderland that they call home. More on that soon!
