YA = young adult. Basically a publishing industry term for adolescent to early teenage age group.
Although, I personally think your writing feels more like quality whimsical children's literature m8 👍🙂

I wondered whether it stood for 'Young Age', haha!
In all honesty, I feel my writing is for all ages, although the youngest might need some explaining ( as I sometimes use difficult words and, often, longish sentences )

P.S. I even wrote a blog post or two, not too long ago, about writing for all ages.
My work is hard to label and thus not that easy to sell but hey, that's fine by me. I prefer originality, over being a sell-out and I got a bunch of groupies, here on Hive and in real life, all waiting to buy my book(s) ;^)
