Legacies of my grandfather
I never missed my grandfather’s meals, except on rare occasions when I was not around. And, some of those times I was not around, my grandfather always treated me well by reserving a separate meal on a special plate for me. And, as famished as I used to be sometimes like Esau, and even if I was not, I would prey upon the meal and lick the plate because his meals were always delicious, especially when cooked in “esio using”, his favourite local pot for cooking.

A friend with hidden secrets
"What's happened?" I asked. "I am on my way to the room to cook. Can we proceed?"
Godwin presented his case as we walked to the room slowly.
"Julius is stingy and deceitful," he began. "Julius and I do visit restaurants to eat almost every day. Whenever I am to pay for the meal, we will both order our favorite food. But when it is his turn to pay, he would order the cheapest snack on the menu for us."

Bülls, Spirits, and Truths
Maryam turned a little startled. “You know my name? Mystery boy!” She bit her lips immediately. Then she stepped away and twirled.
“Ahh. So that's what you call me? My name is Tijan.” His voice was now gentle yet strong and it made Maryam’s gaze soften. He began squeezing through all the noise and dancing to get to Maryam.

Between birds and tools. The magic of woodworking and the love of nature
After doing the review of what needed to be done. When I started talking to Victor and his wife to give them the diagnosis, they confessed to me, that before calling me, they had called a professional carpenter, and the carpenter, had recommended them to make a new kitchen.
When they asked me what I thought, I told them that if it is true that I was not a professional carpenter, but a professional, who had woodworking and repairs as a hobby, I thought very differently, and I assured them that I could fix their kitchen, without problems and putting it to the test, but that I would not do it with MDF, but with wood.

The keys
"And these keys?" -she stretched out her hand and shoved the keys in the man's face. Antonio staggered and hesitated, like one who receives a blow in the face, then cleared his throat and assured:
"I don't know. I've never seen those keys before,” he answered and threw the briefcase on the sofa.
"What do you mean, you haven't? I found them in one of your desk drawers,” Anna cried, on the verge of tears.

An afternoon of movies and ice cream
he movie we watched that day was Peter Pan, and all of us kids were screaming and clapping at the most exciting scenes. It was a fun time, eating what my grandmother had bought us while we watched the movie.
When we left the movie theater, we walked to the bus stop and passed in front of an ice cream shop. We immediately asked grandma to buy us some ice cream, even though we had already eaten quite a bit of the goodies, but my grandma obliged.
