RE: Lost in Love

in The Ink Well3 years ago

It does hurt badly when the person we love doesn't share the same feelings. Even though it must have been a painful experience for Oyindamola, but she should use it to help her grow, hopefully, instead of getting broken.

Your story was nicely written with good characters and dialog.

Thank you for sharing it with The Ink Well, we appreciate your engagement in the community by commenting on other writers' stories.

@storygoddess38, are you purposefully downvoting content? You have downvoted your own story 100%. You also downvoted The Ink Well prompt post 100%, and some of the comments above from The Ink Well and @boscohage.

It is likely an innocent mistake, but in doing so you are costing yourself and others Hive, so it's something you'll want to correct. There are fine reasons for downvoting, but be sure not to do so on accident.

Please see the images below.

The first image shows the comment was downvoted. Notice the broken heart. When you downvote a post or comment it means that you do not like it or you think it had too many rewards.

Anyone can click the number next to the heart to display who downvoted the comment or post. In the next image, you'll see how it appears when someone clicks it, showing that it was you who downvoted. Some people will take offense and then downvote your content, which will affect the value of your posts.

You are most likely clicking the three dots on the far right and clicking Downvote. You should not click the dots to vote on a post (unless you really do not like it). Instead, you should be clicking the heart and setting your upvote appropriately.

We hope that helps clarify this for you.
