Mr. Right? You take a page from Charles Dickens who was famous for naming his characters after their personality traits.
This piece is dripping with satire, and outright slapstick. The scene on the stairs as the couple rush to the doorbell is delightful. One can see it played out to hilarious effect.
Mr. Right's culinary posturing is not clear to us until the final bit when he confesses to using a cooking book and then looks for pickles in the finished salad. Mrs. Right's maneuvering (to get a wig) may be less than admirable, but it does work in the story.
