And it was just a dream... noooo don't do this to us, @sabrinah This was a captivating #CNF. You drew me in with your lightly coquish writing. I am glad that you suggested at the end that this may be an insight into how things could actually turn out... it made me feel that you went off to the ball alive to all sorts of possibilities... which makes the reader continue to dream alongside you. Be careful of walking this line though. Although nicely delivered, stories that pull readers in and then drop them with a "it was all just a dream," generally tend to make the reader feel cheated.
