Your story is effective and moving. We ask you to modify some of the passages that describe specifically the abuse. While this is a real issue in life, endured by many, many women, we don't accept stories of domestic abuse in the Inkwell. There are some writers who describe graphic scenes. In order to protect ourselves (the curators) from having to read such material, we do not accept abuse stories (children/women/pets). We have curated this story because your descriptions are not graphic. However, as an example to others we would like you to modify them.
