Interesting story, @nazzyvic. That would be quite a terrible revelation, just before a wedding, unless the both of the betrothed believed in adoption or medical intervention. (For example, they could purchase eggs from an egg donor and do artificial insemination.) Beliefs about these approaches are undoubtedly different, depending on social customs.
