As it is, the piece is hard to follow. We note that you have created a post-apocalyptic world in which people evolve to have special skills and communicate with bats. However, it's very hard to follow all the details. Also, you have a practice of inserting commas in odd places. Please review your use of commas and see that they are appropriately placed.
