A perfectly calibrated story. We can almost detect the scent. We can see Shira's unpleasant countenance. We can see the glass tubes.

The dialogue is crisp and reveals much about the story and the characters. The footprint in this case is made by a nose :) You have the makings of a minor Greek tragedy, with greed and irony cast in major roles.
