I'm not sure if this is meant to be set in the Akira univers - the mention of Akira and Neo-Tokyo suggest such, and there is the high-tech future feel
that this N-T is merely an illusion and the characters will be moving into an even newer future is interesting.
I gathered some info on a few futuristic animes and movies like "TRON" or "BLADE RUNNER," since even though it came out a long time ago, I just saw it on Tuesday and loved it. 🤓
