“Your Majesty, Duke Harbington has arrived. He is waiting in the boudoir.”
Their Highness lifted her rouge high heels beneath the hooped sacque gown. Her blonde bun was embellished with silver beads and some tiny curls were freed behind her nape, which lightened up her snowy white complexion within the shadow of the flickering chamber. Queen Alyssa took her steps deliberately toward the standing silhouette. Glitters on her eye shadows sparkled in the darkness, as her crystal pupils brightened his picturesque appearance.
“Still stunning, your Majesty.” He spoke, it was that typical low tone of their first encounter 50 years earlier. “You haven’t changed your 18th fashion style? The Monarchy was already over, your Majesty.”
“I have lived long enough to choose which regime I’d love to follow, Duke Harbington.” Alyssa unfolded her peacock feather fan, flapping it gently whilst her voice raised louder.
“You must have been.” He giggled. He is the only person whom the so-called Queen allowed to giggle towards her words.
The Queen flipped her fingertips, an orchestral melody then started to raise in mid air. The forward she moved, the more glowing the Duke's stare. His eyes hooked on her countenance quietly similar to the way it had done in their first meet. Alyssa conferred her gracefully thin hand in front of Harbington so that he could cuddle it with a courteous kiss. He bowed down as a greeting for their upcoming dance, and gently placed his palm on her exquisite waistline, in the meantime another hand of his was holding hers with full appreciation.
“Does it hurt you?” They drowned themselves into a Waltz, he whispered beside her ear when he leant her onto his brawny arms. A secret chill ran down her spine the moment his breath touched her skin, the Queen got distracted.
“Not at all. It is more like a fortune, now that I could see you again.” A scarlet crescent was painted on her lips, at the end of the spinning track. Her glance traced after the caress of his fingers on her soft palm, and quickly met his glance when she brought it back.
“It should not be the way a queen would speak to a lower class.” Harbington teased, he grasped her backbone as Alyssa dropped her body to the rhythm. In response, she held his veiny arms firmly, to the point that he got lost in the maze of her tireless look.
“You are the exception, Duke Harbington. You should’ve known it.” The ardent peaks of the composition got her back turned to him, she tilted her head with a little bit backward tendency.
“I can kill you now, you should’ve known it too.” His cold lips laid on her nape, the fragrance molecules from her blonde danced on his nose top. Harbington lifted his Queen’s chin whilst seizing her waist.
“Do not be too rushed.” Alyssa smirked, her hand knitted with his on her gown. The zipper was pulled down slowly and her sleeves fell on her hips as the lacy petticoat came to light.
She turned back, confronted his burning desiring eyes feasting on her face. The Queen reached his lips by hers, without a hesitate second, he fell into her kiss. A smouldering pain chewed his heart from inside, whilst a deadly aspiration was eating his brain out. His suave fingers prowled on her physique, taking off her rose choker and hidden garter belt. At the same time, he did not stop offering her with her seemingly favourite honey nectar. Their lips glued on each other albeit the fact that it was hard to breathe, but the locomotion was still assured for them to dive into the fluffy bed draft. Igniting warmth from the Duke covered Alyssa’s bitterly cold body, like how his peppermint scent was rewritten by her rosy perfume.
“Is it fine, your Majesty?”
“It is, if it is what we both have been longing for.”
Seeming as they were the exact words he wanted to be told, Harbington bent down closer to the Queen, their shadows melted into oneness on the wall through the lemon chandelier, and their movements went in one way with the flow of the classical melody.
……………………………………………………………………………………………
Harbington dimmed his unawake eyes, he felt a familiar weight on his arm and the loving scent of a blooming flower in his hug. Moon lightened Alyssa’s skin in a blue hue tone sur tone with her pupil colour. He looked at her tensely, trying to pull her closer as if he was afraid she would go somewhere away. The Duke put a silky smooch on his Queen’s lips corner before leaving a red rose-alike mark on her collarbone. She was still her of 50 years ago, those lips, those eyes, those blonde curls. She would have never known how bad he wanted to touch her a bit stronger and longer, had it not been for the dilemmatic relationship between them. A vampire, and a vampire hunter. What could be worse, the fortune wheel? However, in another way, they could be just a Queen and a Duke. This was how they had thought of themselves and the others that fateful night, if only it could have lasted…
“Are you awake?” An arousing voice came up, Alyssa was contemplating his thoughtful mien.
“Yes, your Majesty. Just now.” His lips passed quickly but amorously enough on her hand’s back.
“Have I told you how gorgeous you are?” She stroked his cheeks with passion filling.
“Many times, during our intercourse, my Queen.” He nodded.
The phrase “my Queen” had never slipped from his lips so easily, which astonished yet cheered her up. Alyssa nestled to his chest, her cold-as-dead temperature stabbed his bumping heart in silence. He sensed a sudden hatred he had for sunrise, since he knew it would steal his Queen away this time, once and forever. His hands held tightly on her waist and patted her hair.
“Will you take me with you, Alyssa?”
“Pardon?” Now then she was really confused, not because he called out her name so directly but his abrupt request.
“Take me with you, isn’t it easy for you to kill me? I’ll still have time to use my dagger on you.” What a scene. A couple, talking about how to kill each other, to die together, in calm.
“Why will I do it?”
She mumbled, and noticed the lime yellow glow was emerging from the foothill.
“Like this is my last time to love you.”
Harbington was notified about the dawn by the reflecting luminosity on her blonde. His stare seemed to be pleading, compassionately and earnestly. She could feel his squeeze getting more compact with a few seconds of quiver. They no longer had time. The sun was already at the middle height of the hill. She wanted to ask for his confirmation once more, nonetheless, the utter sincerity in his gaze had spoken up all she needed.
The Queen smiled slightly as she approached his face. Her lips suppressed on his, in both agony and affection. He tangled his hand in her curls again, and tilted his head aside on purpose for her to bite it comfortably. Vampire hunters would die if they were bitten by their predestined vampire targets. Her glacial tender petals shifted adoringly to his welcoming artery, the sharp fangs appeared hurriedly and tapped into her Duke. A throb conquered his neck, but soonly faded away.
“Does it taste good?” He chuckled feebly, a daze was coming to his sobriety. His hand was in place on her nape.
“I did not expect it, Harbington.” She wiped the blood stream on her chin, and chuckled. “It is the best among all I have fed on.”
“That’s an honour, my Queen.” He pulled her to his lips and teased hers another time.
“Now, your turn.” She lay down on the bed sheet, twinkles occupied the usual frosty blue in her eyes.
He took the copper dagger he put on the table nearby some hours earlier, staring at his devil Queen steadily. Vampires would be killed by the daggers having absorbed their predestined hunters’ blood. Alyssa grabbed his hand, pointing the dagger’s cusp exactly at the place of her heart. Harbington’s sight blurred, he gathered all his strength to overwhelm her into their last kiss 5 seconds before landing the dagger into his Queen’s chest. And their kiss did not mean to stop until his head descended on her shoulder, with their hands knitting inseparably.
…
The brunette housemaid opened the intricately ornamented grand door entrancing her Queen’s space, everything was brightened up within the repugnant sunlight beaming through the glasses. Tranquility filled up the atmosphere, on the floor shoes were disarrayed, the white wax candle had been burned out totally. She no longer saw her Queen nor the Duke, she only saw the couple petrification closing their eyes in peace and love in the last moments of a really long life.
…
“My dear Harbington,
How are you doing? Are you still as gorgeous as the first time we meet? Do you still remember me?
I have expected to see you many times more, instead of writing this letter to demand to see you one last time. But I am writing it now, my dearest, I will die soon. The Ann witches cursed me for assassinating their witch vampire, and of course they cursed me with a death sentence to make up for their loss.
It will happen 2 days later, when the sun rises. I have no idea whether this letter will come to you on time, or whether you will come to me on time. However, I believe that you will. I have searched all the ways I could to find out a solution for this curse, but nothing worked. The superior witches said there would be no escapes from it, except for another death occurring before. Which led me to this decision.
Would you kill me for me, Duke Harbington?
You have spared my life thousand times, and I thought we would have ended up together, yet maybe it would be a tragic reunion. Such a fate, isn’t it? We are predestined enemies, and now if possible, I would beg for your dagger on my heart. I’d rather be killed by the person I love than by that imprudent curse, I’d rather be truly loved by you - Duke Harbington, than be alone for the final stage of my life with the ugly vanishing.
Will you love me, as if it is your first time ever?
Your Queen,
Alyssa.”

Thank you for your reading, I hope you have enjoyed this fiction. Have a beautiful day ahead 💕
The heartfelt letter gives a good reason for this sexually charged, murder/suicide fantasy. Highly imaginative with expressive details and appropriately dark scenes. Well done!
