RE: An Unmotivated Life

This made me smile... so much! So relatable. I also learned to read over my dad's shoulder as he read the newspaper. He also taught me to do arithmetic in my head and add long columns of numbers quickly. My mom nurtured my love for reading and writing, playing Scrabble with me into the early hours, buying me books, notepads, pens, pencils, paints (I used to draw too... maybe I should try that again at some point. I have a set of drawing pencils in the back of my cupboard from my Mom 🤗) - I think the key here is the encouragement and love that we received from our parents as we grew and matured and the confidence that instilled at some level so that we went back and pursued our passions. !LUV

Aren't we lucky that we had parents like that? I'd like to think I was the same to my son, as he is being to his son as well.

The luckiest!!💗 ... and I'm sure you were, and so is your son now... 🤗
