Everything seems to be fine for the Hawthorne's family, one of the richest family business in the country, until the bread winner of the family, Mr Hawthorne fell into a coma, he had a shock and fell of the stairs in the house and it's time for the first born of the family to take over their family's business and manage the company. However there are several rivals against the current ownership of the company among other extended families who shares partnership with the company. Tony the first son of the family needs to get married before he can be entitled to take over his father's position in the company. It is believed among the members of the family that anyone who will become the CEO or the chairman of the company must have a family of his own, that is when he will have to capability to manage the company. Tony will be considered an unserious fellow if he remains unmarried. He has just two weeks to get married before he is appointed as the acting CEO until his father's recovery after which he might become the next chairman if he is appointed by his father himself. Everything needs to be done in secret within his immediate family; his mother and his younger sister.
Tony had no intention of getting married anytime soon, he had no girlfriend or any girl he likes which makes it difficult for him. However, his mother took action in her own hands when she brings a young lady home to be his bride. A long time family friend who's only daughter was left behind after her parents died in an accident. Tony just have to make an effort and convince the lady to marry him. Beatrice, the young lady is not ready to marry if not for love. Tony's sister, Kate is making the matter worse as she dislikes Beatrice claiming she's only interested in enjoying her family's wealth.
After much pleadings and consideration, Beatrice decides to accept the marriage proposal and get married to him, but she has her conditions, the marriage will be just for three months and Tony should use that three months to find true love after which they will end their 'planned marriage'. The marriage certificate was signed and it was done secretly. Tony took over his father's position in the company and he began his search for a true love. Nothing special happened between Tony and Beatrice, they stayed in separate rooms and had no dealings with themselves, Kate makes her life a living hell in the house and the mother always remain quiet. Through all of that, Beatrice remain patient and endured everything. Nobody knows what Beatrice was passing through at that moment, she was struggling with her personal life including the untimely death of her parents, Tony alongside was fighting through his own true feelings, his search for love and his decision to listen and search for who his heart truly beats for.
Three months passed and it's finally time for Tony to make his decision. Nobody knows what his decision would be. Will he separate with Beatrice? Has he found love? They all had a question in their mind. The night for Tony to finally make his decision and tell the family what he wants has come, they all awaits his arrival like a watchman keeps watch at night.
The door opens and Tony walks in with a bunch of flower in his hands, everyone keeps a questioning look on their faces, he moves towards Beatrice, who as well looks confused.
"Beatrice, he began, I have spent the last three months wallowing in my own thoughts, I kept looking for what was not lost. In my search for love, I discovered that love was right beside me. I know we got together unplanned but I realized that it was meant to happen, everything that has happened so far. I know I'm not perfect but I want you to give me chance to love you. A lot has happened to me these days and I tried to find out what it is, then I discovered that my heart beats for you. I'm sorry I didn't realize it on time but I don't want to get a divorce, I was unsure of what I really wanted for myself at first, it felt like I was living in an illusion, but now I know. I want to continue with you and this time let's start afresh, like married couples do"
Every one was left in shock including Beatrice who was left with a shock on her face. Every thing now depends on Beatrice's response, her decision depends on what will happen next. Right in her heart, she was ready to say 'yes' but at the same time, she was scared of the new phase of life she wants to take and just at that moment, a call got in for the family, the chairman is awake.
