EMBRACING THE REALITIES OF LIFE 🌻

It's weekend already, i believe I'm not the one one who noticed that this week was very fast, few days ago was just Monday and now it's Saturday.

This week has really been a rollercoaster of challenges, laughter, mood swings and others crazy stuffs. The good thing is I'm alive and healthy, i guess that's what matters the most at this point of my life.

As a young lady, i can boldly say I've seen different shades of life.
Like people always say, life is not a bed of roses 🌹, there's always a challenge on the way no matter how perfect a person try to act.

Social media is another planet entirely, many things are just going so wrong and many people think it's normal.

Few days ago i was scrolling on the streets of tiktok and i saw a really young girl on a street interview ( probably 15-18 years of age), in the interview, she mentioned how she wanted to live large and make money, have a very rich boyfriend and drive big cars, then the interviewer asked what she wanted to become in future, she replied I just want to live a baby girl lifestyle.

Just imagine a young girl of that age, she doesn't even have a reasonable goal in mind, all she wants to do is to enjoy and live a baby girl lifestyle. It's funny how younger generations don't understand life, life is not all it seems, sometimes life happens and throws unexpected obstacles on our way, sometimes we just have to embrace this obstacles, and other times, we try to remove the obstacles out of our way.

I'm not saying enjoying life or having plans to live large is wrong, but it's funny how people live their lives without thinking about tomorrow.

Like I mention social media earlier, it has been a bad influence on a lot of youths. A lot of youth easily succumb to peer pressure, many youth have gone astray because they allow themselves to be pressured by their peers.

As a result of seeing their peers flexing and living large, the ones who doesn't have the means to leave large, would always get pressureed to live large just like their peers, and most times they do a lot of terrible things just to live up to the standard of their peers.
It's funny how young ones don't see the other side of life.

Maturity is realizing that, not everything on social media is real. The definition of fake life, is social media.
People live their life so perfect on social media, meanwhile the reality is opposite. I've seen people who make people on social media their role model, because they are living large and spending large.

It's not a bad thing to have rich people as role models, the most important thing is to look at the other side of Life, social media won't show you the challenges and bad side of life, the so called role models won't show you the struggles and challenges they face in reality, they only show the sweet part and the unrealistic part of life, and this is what a lots of young people have refused to see and understand.

Sometimes, when I see people live their daily life like they came to this world to look for money alone, it's just so funny.
Life shouldn't be about money always, we need to breathe in sometimes take a pause and think.

Another weird thinking, is how people think once you have money you have everything in the whole world, I once had this thought too, what changed my thoughts?
I saw the other side of Life, I have mingled with a lot of rich and high profile people, most of them have money and lot of properties but still don't have happiness.

One thing we're are forgetting is that, money can't buy life. sometime ago, my rich uncle's mom was seriously sick, she was taken to a very good hospital, she was given special treatment because her son had the money.
After spending a whole lot of money on the woman's health, she couldn't make it, she passed away.

Now imagine if money could buy life, she wasn't had died.
This is to know that there's a limit to what money can do and what money can buy.

Let's all leave our lives in a moderate way, and let's not get blinded with the things we can see and forget to see the other part of life, life is sweet at the same time it's bitter sweet, but whatever it throws at us, we should learn to change a obstacles to a stairs to climb higher.

For me, I have a goal of knowing God and knowing Him more everyday of my life. Heaven is my goal. I think it's shallow to only have goals about a rich boyfriend and travelling and enjoying alone.
