On some dark nights so late
It was when sleep wouldn't come
I'd spent some thoughts of my fate
And to date of what I've become.
It isn't my life by measure's fair
Nor by treasure was it any better
But too I've come so near
When things were less bitter.
On some dark nights I dreamed
That I've given up myself on life
When sorrows tipped the brim
Copiously flowed ill fortunes rife.
I would not come to the fair
If only I lost without a fight
If I will I could wield with flair
My hope high to end this plight.

I've walked that long road in pursuing that dream that I lost my childhood early on with no regrets.
It would've been great to have a childhood you could reminisce... but the child in us is always there... It's never too late to have fun now! :)
