RE: Writing Tip #25: Do Short Stories Have to Have a Plot?

in The Ink Well4 years ago

I love this publication. It is very useful.
I like to write with a view to making a film script. I create the characters (phenotype, psychology, social groups, etc.) What changes will you make in history?
I also think about the arches of conflict. This is an important characteristic because otherwise "the story escapes me".
Really! This template is very good.

Yes, exactly - if there is structure and a story arc, a story seems to have a purpose. Whereas if these things are missing, many people will feel that the story escapes them. Well said @marcybetancourt.
